The Mindd Practitioner Directory (directory.mindd.org) is operated by Mindd Foundation Inc (ABN 42 304 705 031) (“Mindd”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the same organisation that operates mindd.org.

Who this policy applies to
This policy covers two groups: practitioners who create a listing, and members of the public who search the directory.
What information we collect from practitioners
Practitioners who complete Mindd Practitioner Training may create a directory listing. To do this, we collect:
- Account details — name, email address, and password for your practitioner login
- Profile details — profession, qualifications, bio, clinic name, clinic address, phone, email, website, social links, modalities, and areas of interest
You control what you enter into your profile via the front-end Edit Profile form.
What is publicly displayed
The directory is a public “find a practitioner” tool, so profile information you submit is intended to be found and used by the public to contact you. This includes your name, credentials, profile photo, clinic name and location, and — where you choose to provide them — phone, email, website, and modality/specialty details. Do not enter any information in your profile you don’t want visible to the public; use your clinic’s contact details rather than a personal address if you’d prefer to keep your home address private.
What information we collect from directory visitors
If you search the directory as a visitor, we do not require an account. We use cookies and analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand how the search and filter tools are used. If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your name, email, and postcode via Mailchimp.
How we use this information
- Display and maintain your public practitioner listing
- Let you log in and edit your own profile
- Power directory search and filtering (by location, profession, modality, etc.)
- Send you account-related emails, such as a password-setup link when you register
- Send newsletters if you’ve opted in
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Who we share your information with
- The public — for the profile details you choose to publish, as described above
- Mailchimp — email newsletters and marketing communications
- Google Analytics — anonymised site usage statistics
- Sub-contractors and technical support providers who help us run the site, bound by confidentiality
New practitioner signups may also be logged internally (e.g. to a spreadsheet) for administrative tracking of new registrations. We may disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep your data
We keep your practitioner listing live for as long as your account is active and your Mindd Practitioner Training status remains current. If you ask us to remove your listing or delete your account, we will do so, subject to any records we’re required to retain for administrative purposes.
Your rights
You can log in at any time to view, edit, or remove details from your own listing. You can also ask us what information we hold about you, request a copy, or request deletion, by emailing info@mindd.org.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information and account from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
